On January 6, 2021, Mr. Liviu Bostan, president of the National Institute of Administration (INA), spoke about INA projects on the broadcast “News Reporters” on Radio România Actualități. The discussions focused on the way in which the public institutions had to reorganize their activity as a result of the pandemic and also on the efficiency of the measures developed and implemented by INA.
The National Institute of Administration is one of the institutions with main responsibility on the development of public administration, being a main actor in the implementation of digitalization.
“All the training programs were transfer on online and at the end of the year we had the opportunity to evaluate their impact. The results are above expectations, and users quickly adjust to working online and take full advantage of the benefits offered by the online training. The 1161 graduates received digital certificates, which have a separate QR code (Quick Response code), which ensures their security and allow viewing the issuer and the content”, Mr. Liviu Bostan mentioned.
He also emphasized that INA is considering for this year the continuation of the organization of online training programs to help civil servants in the central and local public administration to acquire the necessary skills in the context of digitization. This is necessary especially for the activity of public administration to become more efficient, more transparent, and for civil servants to provide quality services to citizens.
