The National Institute of Administration (INA), public institution subordinated to the Ministry of Public Works, Development and Administration, opened on Monday, November 23, 2020, the online training programme „The local elected official – an important factor in decision making”, with free access for the new local elected officials.
165 local elected officials participated in the programme, including 27 commune mayors, 16 commune deputy mayors and 122 commune councillors.
The topics addressed in the program respond to the current challenges faced by local elected officials and are taught by trainers with experience and expertise in the areas addressed, as follows:
• Communication and participation in decision-making process, trainer Orventina Leu;
• Local public finance management, trainer Rodica Enache;
• The legal regime of administrative documents and contracts, trainer Dan Cimpoeru.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss topics of interest with public administration representatives with expertise, invited as guests.
At the end of the programme, the participants will receive a digital certificate of completion, issued automatically by the training.ina.gov.ro platform to the e-mail address of each participant.
